iOS 9 has finally been released to the public. At a glance the list of improvements is unimpressive but Apple’s focus has been on performance and reliability. A welcome change in my mind from the breakneck pace they had with iOS 7 and 8.

Small things like the search field in settings, the improved Notes app and more powerful system-wide search all just make the phone better. This incremental improvement is what Apple does best, and they should stick to it.

The multitasking for iPad on the other hand I’ve sadly not had the ability to test, but it looks very useful. Altohugh the omission of drag-and-drop between apps is glaring.
